Kinsa is recruiting for a: Sales Account Manager - Grocery (Meat, Deli, Marinades)

Location: Northeast or Midwest USA (remote with 60% travel to clients)

Position Purpose:

Our client is an innovative family operated business that distributes premium quality marinades, seasonings, and ingredients to food retailers and processors. They are seeking self-motivated, high energy Sales Account Manager responsible for the growth and development of existing accounts and prospects. This position requires a person who is a fast learner, can multi-task, is comfortable working in a team environment, and is a self-starter. Verbal communication skills are essential. We are looking for an individual that will call on Foodservice Providers like big brand Grocers and such as Wegmans, Ahold, etc.

** Successful candidates Must Have at least 3 years of sales experience selling to large retail grocers (meat / protein, deli, or marinade highly preferred)!**

  • Bi-lingual candidates also highly preferred!!**

Compensation/Benefits:

  • $90,000 – $105,000 Base Salary
  • 100% Profit Sharing
  • Employer paid Health care and other benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports strategic direction and objectives to manage accounts with growth potential.
  • Maintains customer contact and continues to develop sales relationships.
  • Prepares quarterly and annual sales forecasts for all assigned accounts.
  • Documents and reports all weekly customer/prospect activity within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Method).
  • Attend and participate in National/Regional Trade Shows.
  • Assist in marketing and new product development.

Qualifications:

  • Grocery Sales Experience to large retailers: 3 years (5+ Preferred)
  • This job requires a significant amount of travel (60%), outgoing phone calls/email correspondence to existing as well as prospective customers.
  • Bi-lingual candidates highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Not necessary for right candidate)
  • Demonstrated strong oral, written, & interpersonal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office computer skills are required
