About the Job:
- Analyze Sales Data: Identify trends related to demo events through thorough analysis of sales data.
- Evaluate Variables: Assess the impact of location, timing, and frequency of demo events on sales performance.
- Optimize Scheduling: Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize demo events.
- Report Development: Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards to track performance metrics.
- Profitability Analysis: Conduct detailed profitability analysis of demo events and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to enhance the demo events.
- Monitor KPIs: Regularly monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demo activities.
- Statistical and Financial Modeling: Utilize statistical and financial modeling techniques to forecast sales.
- Present Findings: Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) as a financial analyst, preferably in retail or consumer product goods, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Consistently ensures precision and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Demonstrates a disciplined approach to meeting deadlines and following established guidelines.
- Confidently makes decisions within their area of expertise and ensures delegated tasks are completed effectively.
- Ability to effectively communicate to the business what the data is telling us to improve performance.
