Western Logistics Express (WLE), a rapidly growing asset-based 3PL Brokerage located in North Kansas City, is actively seeking an industry professional to fill our newly created position of Sales and Performance Training Manager. This onsite role is dedicated to the training and development of both new and existing staff.

Position Overview: As the Performance & Training Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the capabilities of our team. We are looking for an individual with management and training experience in the logistics and supply chain industry to lead the training initiatives at WLE.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. • Provide ongoing training for all staff members, fostering continuous learning and development.

• Develop and enhance training materials for both new and current employees.

• Collaborate with current employees, focusing on refining sales and operations techniques and strategies.

• Conduct daily calls with sales staff and remote agents to provide guidance and support.

• Generate regular reports for the VP of Sales, detailing the progress of each employee on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Take ownership of additional responsibilities as this is a dynamic and evolving role. Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in Brokerage Account Development & Sales.

• 2-5 years of experience leading and managing a Sales Team.

• Outside-the-box thinker with a high level of ingenuity.

• Ability to interact effectively with multiple personalities and profiles.
