About the Position:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant/Auction Coordinator who will provide support to the sales and auction teams in ensuring high customer satisfaction and maintaining accounts and databases. Sales Assistant responsibilities include working closely with our sales team to close qualified leads generated by our marketing team, account and database maintenance, and working with the MTB team to complete each sale. Auction Coordinator responsibilities include working with the auction team to create auction listings, assist with collection of payments, removal, and buyer inquiries.
Our target candidates will have a strong interest in learning a technical field in a dynamic business. Knowledge of manufacturing, machine tools and e-commerce a plus but is not required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM programs, and e-commerce.
- People skills, including ability to work with customers, as a team, and with vendors.
- Effective communication and cooperation with all departments
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain machinery listings on all company sites, plus 3rd party websites as applicable
- Assure web-based machine listings are accurate and well presented
- Accurately enter records into CRM system and maintain client records
- Promptly and professionally route and screen calls and /or take complete messages
- Monitor office operations and track office supply inventory
- Work with Auction Team to gather and input information for auction listings
- Research on machinery including gathering technical specifications from clients or the internet
- Utilizes CRM system to track and record customer info
- Responding to customer requests
- Assist with auction collections and logistics
