We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Audit Administrator to join our client's team for a contract to hire opportunity. The Sales Audit Administrator will be responsible for managing various auditing tasks with precision, logic, and dedication. They will support field management and ensure accuracy in the sales auditing process, handling complex reconciliation issues. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys problem-solving.
Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations across 800 retail stores.
• Review and clean up store deposit slips, ensuring entries match and are properly documented.
• Collaborate with field management to resolve discrepancies and incomplete information, especially when faced with unclear scenarios.
• Utilize Access databases and the company's mainframe system to review and reconcile deposits.
• Conduct research, verify data, and ask clarifying questions to ensure accuracy in all reconciliations.
• Manage inbox and respond to inquiries from the field, handling assigned tasks and providing necessary support.
  

Qualifications:

• Candidates who do not have basic accounting experience will not be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and bank reconciliations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks accurately.
• Ability to think critically, investigate discrepancies, and ask clarifying questions.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with field management and internal teams.
