Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and highly motivated Director of Sales to initiate and cultivate growth opportunities for the enterprise. This critical role is directly responsible for increasing revenue and profitability for the company by creatively solving client needs and challenges. This individual must be adept at professional networking and building strong relationships and have demonstrated success in acquiring and expanding client partnerships.


This role reports to the Chief Growth Officer.

Director of Sales - Key Responsibilities:


Lead Generation and Acceleration:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with customers, including expansion into new markets and customer segments
  • Utilize data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of revenue initiatives, optimize pricing strategies, and make informed decisions to maximize profitability.


Solutioning:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing clients to expand service offerings, while ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and contracts
  • Investigate and analyze new business opportunities; develop and maintain positive business relationships with potential clients; build both internal and external networks
  • Partner with Marketing to develop integrated marketing and sales strategies to drive brand awareness in support of growth and customer engagement


Sales Process:

  • Actively use marketing systems to build rapport and relationships over the selling cycle, leveraging data to action a strategy and report out on activity
  • Lead the development of sales presentations, proposals, and contractual sales documents
  • Research prospective organizations to identify the right customer stakeholders
  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients and follow up on these opportunities.
  • Regularly assess amenity service offerings and make recommendations for improvements based on resident feedback.
  • In-depth knowledge of the real estate market, including trends, regulations, and property valuation


Research and Strategy:

  • Build and develop relationships by participating in industry networking groups and hosting client events to maintain a pulse on the market
  • Be a partner to others on the sales team to achieve and surpass individual and group sales targets
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding customer needs, opportunities, and market trends
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services to internal audiences, prospective clients and industry groups
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve better results and understand the company’s services to facilitate sales efforts


Brand Ambassador:

  • Credibly and positively represent the company at business-related events with clients and prospects
  • Be a culture warrior at every point of contact, visibly demonstrating the value of the organization and team


Qualifications:


  • 7 – 10 years of experience with a focus on selling of a service
  • Must have experience in corporate dining service sales
  • Demonstrated understanding of the unique contract food service marketplace, industry and client dynamics
  • Capability to execute independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Exceptional written and oral communications ability
  • Engaging and creative negotiation and presentation skills


Physical Requirements:


This job requires travel up to 70% to prospect and meet with prospective clients
