We are an award-winning, full-service brand-experience agency seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Project Manager to join our newly formed Sales & Marketing Department. Our team of over 90 passionate professionals is distributed across multiple offices in Tennessee and North Carolina, serving national and international brands with innovative event solutions.
Position Summary
As our Sales & Marketing Project Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting our team to achieve its objectives efficiently and effectively. You'll drive administrative and project management efforts that involve marketing and sales growth to enhance our brand visibility and awareness. This position will be based in one of our Tennessee offices (Memphis, Nashville, or Chattanooga) and is not eligible for full-time remote work.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
Oversee and support special projects including industry events, conferences, and department initiatives
Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and provide status updates to stakeholders
Manage project calls, notes, budgets, creative briefs, and logistics
Conduct post-project evaluations and budget reconciliation
Spearhead innovative strategies to foster creativity and boost team collaboration
Administrative Support:
Oversee logistical aspects of team projects (registration, travel arrangements, accommodations, etc.)
Manage departmental expenses, purchase orders, and database entries
Maintain the departmental calendar and inventory
Record and take notes for departmental meetings as needed
Sales and Marketing Support:
Assist with sales funnel management (new leads, prospect data management, RFP support)
Manage the company's CRM (HubSpot), including platform maintenance and reporting
Oversee web-based project management tool (Asana)
Stay updated on best sales/marketing practices, trends, tools, and software
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other teams, departments, vendors, and external partners
Manage departmental traffic and distribution of information
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and/or marketing within the events or hospitality industry
PMP certification preferred (not required)
Proficiency in project management and CRM tools/software (Asana, HubSpot, QuickBase, etc.)
Excellent communication, project management, and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel (up to 10%) and work occasional nights and weekends
