Overview: As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and optimizing sales processes within our organization. You will analyze sales data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations in order to drive revenue growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance for management.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
  • Assist Sales Operations Manager with analyzing market data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Monitoring actual sales against forecasts and budgets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide analysis of variances and insight to targets.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand their needs and provide analytical support.
  • Assist in maintaining sales analytics tools and databases.
  • Identify process improvements to streamline sales operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain and oversee CRM platforms (Salesforce) and health of sales funnel.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance) to optimize sales strategies.
  • Assist with creating training manuals and training aids.
  • Data entry for purchase orders, quote, and opportunity assistance.
  • Data collection and data management.
  • Support sales forecasts and models to elevate planning and budgeting processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (Excel, CRM software such as Salesforce, NetSuite, DealHub, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and performance metrics.
