Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Science Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. As a member of our community, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students who process information differently, fostering a love for science in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging science curriculum tailored to the unique needs of gifted and twice-exceptional students.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking.
Provide individualized support and guidance to students to ensure their academic success and personal growth.
Collaborate with colleagues, learning specialists, and school leadership to design innovative lessons and strategies that meet the diverse needs of our students.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of best practices in education.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Previous experience teaching middle school or high school science, preferably in a diverse or inclusive educational setting.
Passion for working with gifted and twice-exceptional students and a commitment to their academic and social-emotional development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
Creative and adaptable teaching approach, with a willingness to think outside the box and embrace innovation.
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and utilizing technology to facilitate learning.
Compensation
Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
