Job Title: Scientist-I

Location: Rahway, NJ 0706

Duration: 06 months

Shift Hours: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM

Qualifications

  • Education Minimum Requirement: BS/MS in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline
  • Required Experience and Skills – Strong laboratory analytical skills are required. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills are required. Recent Research or Industrial experience with biophysical and biochemical techniques for biotherapeutics characterization is required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of laboratory experience

Desired Experience and Skills – Expertise in operating various Biophysical instruments including but not limited to AUC, CD, HIAC, DLS, DSC, FTIR, SEC-MALS, MFI, Raman; good understanding of protein science, protein/peptide stability, and protein-protein interactions.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Basic ability to troubleshoot biophysical instruments.
  • Documentation and reporting of results in an electronic notebook system.
  • Review of ELN notebooks.
  • Phase-appropriate biophysical characterization of formulations.
