Focusing on developing next generation drugs for the treatment of type 2 inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis and asthma, this candidate will contribute to efforts of developing drug candidates toward clinical development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating preclinical data to support development of various compounds, via the execution of preclinical in vitro and supporting in vivo studies, to screen, profile and strengthen our mechanistic biological understanding of drug molecules. The position requires an ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment, as well as excellent technical/written/oral communication skills. The ideal candidate will be curious in exploring new paths for scientific discoveries and bold in proposing creative experimental designs and ideas.
A strong working knowledge and demonstrated track record in Immunology is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should possess strong laboratory experience and technical expertise in in vitro cellular immunology (including ELISA, MSD, Co-IP, assay development, tissue culture, flow cytometry, primary immune cell assays, cell fractionation) and ex vivo tissue processing and analysis. Direct experience in imaging using confocal microscopy is a plus.
