We are seeking a part time Scribe / Medical Assistant for our fast paced Carlsbad clinic specializing in integrative, functional medicine. Duties include (but are not limited to): serving as a scribe for office visits and medical exams, serving as liaison for lab orders, lab tracking, computer data entry, filing, faxing, email communications, patient follow up calls, small research projects, assist with treatment modalities and minor office housekeeping. This is a Part-time position approx. 28 to 32 hours/week. This position may also occasionally cover our front desk associate during their lunch break. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is a reliable, punctual, upbeat person with positive energy and the ability to proficiently use (or quickly learn to use proficiently) the following knowledge and skills:

• our EMR/database software and internet communications,
• maintain patient confidentiality
• do online research;
• use Word and Excel;
• possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• superior customer service skills;
• attention to detail
