What will you be doing?

As our Scrum Master, you’ll play a pivotal role in facilitating Agile practices within our development teams, reporting directly to the Director of Product Development. Your responsibilities will include guiding the team through Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring continuous improvement in Agile practices.

You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the Scrum framework is effectively applied, helping the team deliver high-quality products. Your primary focus will be to foster a collaborative and productive environment, enabling teams to achieve their best performance.

Your contributions are essential in driving the success of our projects and ensuring the timely delivery of innovative solutions at Allurion. You’ll be at the forefront of promoting Agile methodologies and supporting our growth and success.

What We’re Looking For In You

  • Bachelor’s Degree Requirement: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is essential, ensuring a solid foundation in technical and business knowledge.
  • Extensive Experience: We seek a Scrum Master with 3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role, preferably within the healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Recognized Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies is highly valued.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead and motivate Agile teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Certified Scrum Master: Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) is preferred.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress.
  • Continuous Improvement: A commitment to continuous improvement and a track record of implementing process improvements.
  • Collaborative Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Goal-oriented and Initiative-driven: Demonstrated goal orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving, displaying creativity, independence, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, managing multiple assignments effectively.
  • Professionalism: Upholding high standards of professionalism fosters a culture of excellence and integrity within the workplace, contributing to a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Confidence in utilizing Microsoft Office and Agile-specific software tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

Location:
