Senior Account Executive

This position requires skills to build strong account satisfaction, retention, growth and reference-ability for one or more high priority accounts on our Healthcare, Financial Services and Higher Education account management pods. Key responsibilities include leading the development of best-in-class marketing solutions for clients including building strong client relationships through regular, proactive, value-added communication.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage 100% of client communications
  • Actively participate in team meetings, providing insight in areas of difficulty
  • Develop such a relationship with a client that you are the trusted advisor/partner – you’re thinking about their business from a strategic approach. You are able to ask them for referrals
  • Proactive account planning
  • Proactively push work through the agency
  • Participate regularly in the pitch process/presentations
  • Actively find growth opportunities with your clients and step in where there are issues with scope creep
  • Fully understand the Primacy products/services and identify opportunities
  • Responsible for the organic growth of current clients
  • Remain in tune with clients and senses issues before they arise
  • Hold poise and patience but stay firm in challenging client situations and manage those situations to resolution
  • Remain aware of billing situation of clients
  • Use your own network or look for new opportunities to broaden your own network
  • Remain diligent about changes in the digital marketing landscape, be vocal about them with clients, and make it actionable
  • Organize and lead large team and client meetings (ideation sessions, department meetings, trainings, etc.) and wrangle them if they go off track

What it takes to succeed in this role:

  • 5+ years of Account Management digital marketing experience with agency background
  • Deep understanding of and experience in managing clients on projects such as: web site development, marketing, measurement and analytics, content management, digital marketing and internet technology, omnichannel marketing campaigns, and more
  • Experience in our core industries ofHealthcare, Financial Services and Higher Education
  • Proficiency in writing project overviews
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
