Senior Accountant

OVERVIEW:

The Senior Accountant will join a team of finance experts dedicated to executing daily accounting functions and ensuring the delivery of timely, precise, and insightful financial data remains a top priority.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the accurate and punctual completion of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closures, along with pertinent corporate accounting tasks.

• Generate and evaluate supporting schedules and analyses, including the scrutiny of manual journal entries.

• Verify the timely and precise preparation of all balance sheet account analyses.

• Harmonize corporate accounting procedures to enhance standardization across the enterprise.

• Develop and enforce corporate accounting policies and procedures.

• Supervise and evaluate the work of the offshore accounting team.

• Uphold compliance with internal finance policies and controls, including adherence to data and reporting standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX regulations, internal and external audits).

• Aid in annual external and statutory audit processes.

• Contribute to meticulous projects such as accounting system implementations, enhancements to business processes, and enforcement of policies, procedures, and internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word, Outlook, and Excel, with intermediate formula capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp internal systems, workflows, and technologies.
