Bell Flavors & Fragrances is a leading manufacturer and supplier of flavors and fragrances to a variety of industries worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated Sr Staff Accountant to join our team in Northbrook, IL. As the Sr Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for accurately and timely financial reporting of balance sheet and income statement accounts. You will complete monthly general ledger reconciliations and analysis, assist year-end audits, tax requests, etc.
The Key Areas You Will Be Working In Are
Working on complex analyses, resolving tax issues, working closely with outside tax accountants
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and appropriate journal entries in support of the financial statements
Daily reconciliation for cash management
Communicate effectively with the upper management and outside accountants as required
Produce monthly employee travel reports
Report on fixed assets and inventory to Controller and VP of Finance
