About The Role

Transcend is hiring for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting Team. This role will report to the Senior Accounting Manager, and will be a key driver of financial integrity, and accurate reporting.

What You'll Do

• Assist with research and documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls within the following technical areas is required: ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), ASC 340-40 (Commissions), ASC 350 (Internally Developed Software), ASC 718 (Stock-based Compensation).
• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and account variance analysis.
• Identify, develop, and implement scalable solutions that automate manual workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the operationalization of new business initiatives
• Support accounting operations (accounts payable and accounts receivable) team members when needed.
• Support external audit requirements.
  
  

Who You Are

• Analytical and Self-Motivated: Experience thriving in high-growth environments.
• Collaborative Demeanor: Positive, collaborative approach with hands-on capabilities.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA license required.
• Industry Experience: Experience in high-growth companies, preferably within the SaaS industry, or public accounting.
• Adaptability: Ability to manage day-to-day responsibilities while adapting to changing priorities.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, process orientation, and proficiency in systems.
• Software Proficiency: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required for large data set analysis, including pivot table design and complex formula generation. Experience utilizing Quickbooks, Bill, Brex, Avalara and Carta is a bonus.
• Time Management: Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset.

For this role, the estimated annual total salary ranges are below. The actual annual salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.

The listed range below is a guideline, and the annual total salary range for this role may be modified. Transcend offers attractive health benefits, equity, and perks in addition to cash compensation.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

110,000 - 140,000 USD per year(Remote - United States)
