Are you a seasoned accountant with a knack for precision and a passion for detailed financial management? This opportunity allows you to join a dynamic team in a fully remote, long-term contract role. You will play a key role in managing various accounting tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and overseeing month-end close procedures. If you have a strong background in accounting and are proficient with accounting software, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Reconciliation: Perform detailed reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Verify that all transactions align with company records.
  • Software Utilization: Use your expertise in NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to enhance processes and procedures.
  • Month-End Close: Oversee the month-end close process to ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Flux Analysis: Analyze significant changes or variances in account balances.
  • Financial Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience Leveraging: Apply your experience with large organizations to navigate complex accounting systems.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 5 years in an accounting role with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Skills: Proficiency in account, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations; general ledger management; journal entry preparation; and Microsoft Excel.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
