Location: Brooklyn, NY | 3-4 Days in Office

Compensation: $135,000 - $160,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Your Impact as Accounting Manager

In this role, you'll be a key player in our client’s financial team, ensuring their accounting operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Comprehensive Accounting Oversight: Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including revenue recognition, accounts payable, production accounting, and T&E, ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry standards.

📊 Financial Leadership: Lead the revenue recognition and reporting processes, focusing on ASC 606 within our SaaS environment, and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to deliver accurate financials.

💻 Systems & Cash Management: Leverage financial systems (NetSuite, Concur, Workday) for accuracy and efficiency, while overseeing collections and cash management through forecasting and cash flow optimization.

🔍 Internal Controls & Audit Compliance: Develop and implement robust accounting policies to ensure SOX compliance, and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audits.

👥 Team & Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of 4, fostering a collaborative environment, and work closely with other departments to translate complex financial information into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

🔄 Continuous Process Improvement: Identify and drive opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements across accounting processes.
