Senior Applications Analyst

Description

Responsible for owning large scale application projects and support for all initiatives in the Beauty & Home Product Development application delivery space. This role will be executed through strong functional and technical skills, effective communication, and directly working with a wide variety of business and technical partners. Support all current SAP PLM, PPM, Recipe Development, EH&S, QM, Collaboration folders, Document Management (DMS), WWI reports, Fiori UI, PLM functionality, and integration with other SAP modules. Design, configure, test, debug, document, and collaborate with development teams on both custom and packaged software solutions. Serve as overall functional application lead on multiple projects or large-scale programs. Assume lead role in capturing detailed requirements, completing gap analysis, and solution design for full scope of technology initiatives. Provide feasibility assessments and effort estimates for proposed initiatives. Support Beauty & Home PLM Business Partners, including Product Development, Packaging Development, Sourcing & Costing, Formula Development, Safety, Regulatory, Compliance, Product Testing, Commercialization, and Operations. Work closely with Enterprise Application Development (EAD), BASIS, Master Data, Supply Chain, Project Management Teams, Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) and cross functional VSIT team members to support application delivery initiatives. Drive issue resolution through research or triage of new, uncommon, or complex, problems spanning multiple systems or applications. Mentor and train team members in custom and packaged software complexities, maintenance and operational support activities, including on-call support. Act as a trusted advisor to business partners providing application knowledge and technical expertise. Proactively identify, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest improvement measures to ensure system stability for critical processes. Author functional specs, ensuring that all details of designed solution including integrations, dependencies, configuration, mapping, test cases and business process rules are included. Perform functional testing and partner with the QC teams for regression testing and defect resolution ensuring quality product delivery. Participate in User Acceptance Testing and act as escalation resource for reported issues and defect resolution. Act as a change agent by assisting in business training execution. Be curious and identify innovative ways to improve technology processes and solutions. Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices to recommend process or technology changes for the applications in the group's portfolio. Participate in on call support rotation and maintenance activities. Remote Work Available. Telecommuting required – employee may live anywhere in the United States.

Minimum Salary: $107,000.00

Maximum Salary: $145,950.00

Qualifications

Requirements Include: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study and 5 years of experience, including 5 years of application analysis experience, including large-scale project implementation experience; 5 years of SAP PLM Recipe Development experience; 5 years of experience writing, editing, and reviewing functional specifications; 5 years of experience related to project implementation in a lead role creating, documenting, and executing test cases related to FUT, FIT, and UAT for large- and small-scale projects; 5 years of experience driving process improvements and providing recommendations to business and technical teams on solutions that not only fit the needs of the business but also provide sound technical processes.
