Senior Applications Engineer - Biopharma

We are closely partnered with an established global leader in specialty pumps and single-use technology Biopharma OEMs in the industry. This is a new role for the team as they continue to focus on customer experience and support for the Northeast area. If you are in the Greater Boston area and have technical experience in highly regulated, GMP, or Bioprocessing environments, with a passion for solving problems and helping customers find the right systems, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Design and document custom pump solutions, and serve as a mentor and lead to the life science engineering team
• Technical hands-on lead for the selection of products for biopharma and life science customers
• Cross-functionally address field issues and defects to determine root-cause and implement corrective actions
• Perform installation and operation qualifications at customer sites

Qualifications:

• Hands-on, technical experience with troubleshooting electromechanical systems, Aseptic filling systems, Single-use assemblies, Peristaltic pumps, etc.
• Experience with FDA, ISO Standards, and GMP Environments is required
• Ability to communicate with key stakeholders while resolving issues promptly
• Ability to travel ~30% domestically with limited international travel
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or relevant field
• 4 years experience in biomanufacturing, bioprocessing, biopharma, molding, or fill-finish environment and product

Must reside or be willing to commute near Greater Boston, Greater Lancaster, or Greater Worcester areas
