We are looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Prepare client invoices, schedule of values and process payments received
Assist the executive team with collections on past due accounts
Forecast monthly billings and update corresponding reports
Ensure accurate and timely billing and collection of all monies due to the company as per negotiated contracts with customers, vendors, or manufacturers.
Work closely with cross-functional counterparts in Sales, Customer Service, and Shipping to identify and drive initiatives to improve accounts receivable processes
Assist in financial reviews or audits
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Strong understanding and application of basic accounting principles and requirements
Ability to operate independently and as part of a larger functional team
