Position: Senior Audit Associate

Hybrid - Northbrook, IL - Full Time Role

A local CPA firm is seeking an experienced audit professional to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit teams through all phases of the audit process.
• Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and communicate audit issues and suggest practical solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and training.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business and address audit-related concerns.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or working towards certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in audit, preferably in a public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and audit procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
