Senior Audio Signal Processing Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audio Signal Processing Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing advanced audio and AI driven signal processing algorithms for our cutting-edge communications and conferencing products.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement state-of-the-art audio signal processing algorithms for real-time communication systems
• Develop and optimize audio enhancement features such as noise reduction, echo cancellation, and voice activity detection using both analytic and AI techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio processing solutions into our product ecosystem
• Conduct research on emerging audio technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve product performance
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex audio-related issues in existing products
• Mentor team members and contribute to the overall growth of the audio engineering team
  
  

Who You Are

• Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on signal processing
• 8+ years of experience in DSP and audio signal processing, preferably in the conferencing, communications, and/or pro audio industry
• Strong expertise in digital signal processing techniques, particularly those applicable to voice and audio
• Proficiency in Matlab, C/C++ programming and optimization for embedded systems
• Experience with real-time audio processing and low-latency systems
• Familiarity with audio codecs, internet audio protocols, and relevant industry standards
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into efficient, production-ready code
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Passion for creating high-quality, innovative audio solutions
• Adaptability to rapidly changing technology landscapes
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  
  

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

• Ph.D. in a relevant field of study
• Experience with machine learning and AI techniques applied to audio processing
• Familiarity with both embedded and cloud-based audio processing architectures
• Contributions to relevant open-source projects or academic publications
• Experience with processing in combined audio and video modalities
