Senior Auditor/Audit Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for privately held business clients, including planning, fieldwork, and completion stages.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Perform detailed testing of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes to ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful recommendations to clients to improve their financial operations and internal controls.
- Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and related reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations, challenges, and objectives, and provide value-added recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification or certification in progress is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and assurance services for privately-held businesses preferred.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting requirements (GAAP), and internal control frameworks.
- Proven experience in planning, executing, and managing audit engagements, including risk assessment and audit program development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and firm leadership.
