Position Overview
I am seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Auditor to join their esteemed team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, particularly in the non-profit and healthcare sectors, and a passion for delivering accurate and insightful audit services. As an Experienced Auditor, you will play a vital role in conducting and leading audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing valuable insights to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for a variety of clients, including non-profits, healthcare agencies, schools, and large commercial corporations.
Review financial statements, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Identify and assess risks, develop audit strategies, and implement effective audit procedures.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients, helping them improve their financial processes and controls.
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and ensuring the quality of work.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, auditing techniques, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with tax and consulting teams to provide a comprehensive service offering to clients.
Assist in the preparation of audit reports, ensuring they are clear, concise, and meet the needs of stakeholders.
Qualifications
CPA certification required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 4-6 years of audit experience, with a focus on non-profits, healthcare, or large corporations.
Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
