Position

This person will be responsible for managing client engagements including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial statements for reviews and audits for our Religious organizations niche.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage multiple clients while consistently meeting deadlines.

Evaluate internal controls and proposed recommendations to correct any deficiencies.

Assist Partner in preparing risk assessment and audit plan programs.

Prepare draft financial statements.

Research and analyze financial statements and audit-related issues.

Use of AuditFile cloud software to document audit and review procedures for Partner review and Peer Review.

Maintain good working relationships with client senior management to enhance customer satisfaction and work with staff at all levels to perform audit services.

Proactively interact with key stakeholders to gather information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.

Prepare nonprofit tax returns for our clients outside of the niche. Preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.

CPA License, Preferred But Not Required.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Excellent written and interpersonal skills.

Cloud Software:

AuditFile – cutting edge cloud software to document audit and review engagements.

Practitioners Publishing Company (PPC) – documents used to enhance AuditFile as needed.

Intuit – ProConnect Tax for 990 preparation and QuickBooks.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.
