A top public accounting firm is looking to hire a senior auditor. All industries will be considered. Also, other areas outside of NYC (including hybrid/100% remote options) will be considered.
Responsibilities
Help audit public (SEC 10-K, 10-Q)/private clients
Help with (depending on candidate experience and preferences) financial services (hedge fund, private equity, fund of fund, etc.) or non-financial services (media & entertainment, healthcare, consumer goods, etc.)
Help with the audit from start (planning) to finish (issuance of the financials)
Manage staff and interns throughout the audit
Meet with various client contacts and meet both internal and external deadlines
Audit high risk areas throughout the audit
Qualifications
2+ years of work experience in accounting and/or auditing at a public accounting firm
A bachelor degree in accounting required
CPA licensed or in the process of obtaining a CPA
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities at once
