Senior Auditor (Multiple Locations/100% Remote Option)

A top public accounting firm is looking to hire a senior auditor. All industries will be considered. Also, other areas outside of NYC (including hybrid/100% remote options) will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Help audit public (SEC 10-K, 10-Q)/private clients
• Help with (depending on candidate experience and preferences) financial services (hedge fund, private equity, fund of fund, etc.) or non-financial services (media & entertainment, healthcare, consumer goods, etc.)
• Help with the audit from start (planning) to finish (issuance of the financials)
• Manage staff and interns throughout the audit
• Meet with various client contacts and meet both internal and external deadlines
• Audit high risk areas throughout the audit

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in accounting and/or auditing at a public accounting firm
• A bachelor degree in accounting required
• CPA licensed or in the process of obtaining a CPA
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities at once
