Senior Counsel (Remote)

Our client, a virtual, results-driven law firm, is seeking experienced Senior Counsel to join their dynamic team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a very respected organization.

Position Duties/Requirements:

1) Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and contracts including technology, procurement, and outsourcing.

2) Prior experience working in a house legal department and a large law firm.

3) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to work collectively and effectively with in-house lawyers and business representatives of large companies to complete and close transactions, and with others in the firm.

4) Demonstrated ability to prepare, negotiate and close a large number of contracts for multiple clients.

5) Proactive, self-starter and self-director who can work independently without supervision in a virtual environment, and handle multiple projects.

6) A strong belief in the importance of team work and collaboration in a professional setting within culture of client service.

7) Exceptional time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with ability to respond quickly and meet requirements without management.

8) Proficiency in MS Office suite products and a strong comfort level using technology to accomplish work and communicate in a virtual environment.

9) Ability and strong desire to assist with inside sales and support business development and sales to new clients.

10) Ability to attend and travel to 1 to 2 conferences and 2 to 3 client meetings per year as requested.

11) In good standing with at least 1 state bar.
