About The Role:

Credit and Collections is one of the company’s largest assets and the Senior Credit and Collections Specialist plays a very important role in helping the company achieve its collection goals. We are looking for a talented individual who shares values of accountability, responsiveness, teamwork and a positive attitude.


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit and Collections Specialist to join our finance team. The Senior Credit and Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, collections and reconciliation of customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assignment to US and Canada account base.
  • Daily AR responsibilities include running aging reports, making outbound collection calls, updating notes in Full Circle to resolve delinquent balances.
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to resolve invoicing inquiries and disputes.
  • Perform regular analysis and reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Processing credit cards payments and assisting customers with lockbox pay information.
  • Resolving open chargebacks.
  • Working with sales reps on special accounts, unresponsive to calls, past due situations.
  • Notifying AR Supervisor or Credit Manager of doubtful collections, closed accounts, etc.
  • Ad-hoc duties, reports, assignments related to wholesale customer base.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, preferably in a senior capacity.
  • 3+ years experience in wholesale/footwear/apparel company or similar industry a plus.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and collection practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship builder with customers and sales reps.
  • In office 4 days per week Monday-Thursday, ability to work from home on Fridays.


Location: This is an in-office position, minimum of 4 days per week in office, in Irvine, CA. This work schedule is subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.


Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 to $31.00 per hour; hourly rate is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
