As we expand our reach and influence, we're seeking a highly motivated Senior Director of Business Development/Partnerships to lead our partnership initiatives.


Position Summary:

This results-driven role sits at the core of our sales and revenue team. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy that drives significant business growth. This is a production-focused position centered on prospecting, securing, and maximizing revenue from new and existing partnerships. Success in this role will solidify our position as a leading financial services provider within the industry.


Compensation:  $100k-$130k annual salary plus commission; Anticipated OTE: $150k-$180k


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Identify and cultivate a targeted list of high-value partners and referral sources within the industry.
  • Partnership Development: Craft and continually refine a list of top potential partners. Secure new partnerships, with a focus on volume generation. Maximize the productivity of existing partners and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new ones. Provide ongoing support through educational materials, training, and engagement initiatives. Develop a feedback loop to gather partner insights and continuously improve services.
  • Networking and Relationship Building: Enhance the company's reputation and build strong relationships with prospective partners, consistently demonstrating the value we offer. Strengthen existing partnerships through ongoing communication and support.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Continuously refine processes for seamless partner integration and immediate productivity. Collaborate with marketing to attract new partners and drive business from existing partnerships. Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth support and maximize partner-generated leads and revenue. Set and track monthly targets for partner volume acquisition.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on key metrics related to volume and productivity. Conduct regular performance reviews to assess progress and adjust strategies as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Cannabis industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to track and report on performance metrics.
  • Salesforce experience required.
  • Innovative thinker with a results-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach who can make a tangible impact.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
