Job Description

We are a Purchasing team that brings value to our organization by procuring the goods, raw materials & services required to operate the organization effectively. Ultimately, the purchasing process impacts the product quality and helps in optimizing costs in the value chain by identifying key suppliers to meet these requirements. While supporting our internal partners cross function, our Purchasing team is collaborative, team spirited, proactive, progressive and solutions oriented.

Your Impact to the role:

• Define purchasing strategy in line with business objectives and in accordance with category sourcing strategy
• Lead purchasing activities not limited to: the annual review of the vendors and the action plan with the operation department, the coordination with other LVMH P&C brands on some specified subjects
• Manage all key aspects of sourcing, purchasing of component vendors following established fresh and LVMH purchasing strategies, budget guidelines and the given technical specification of the product and the supply chain requirement.
• Manage relationships with suppliers including negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with those contracts, resolving disputes, evaluating supplier performance, and fostering long-term partnerships with key vendors.
• Oversee the preparation of the annual purchasing budget and ensure that purchases are within budgetary limits. Work closely with finance team to forecast costs and savings as well as assess financial risks associated with procurement activities. Achieve target yearly savings
• Seek out ways to improve purchasing processes by utilizing new technologies or innovative practices that can save time or reduce costs without compromising on quality, sustainability or service levels.
• Ensure compliance with laws related to procurement; stay informed about relevant legislation (like trade agreements) that could impact sourcing decisions. Manage risks related to supply chain disruptions or potential breaches in contractual obligations.

• Execute the Purchasing Strategy working in a collaborative environment
• Continue to develop and establish sales processes on indirect purchasing
• Present to Comex the latest Purchasing roadmap for both direct and indirect
  
  

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

You have:

• 12+ Years of Experience Required in procurement and purchasing, beauty purchasing ( preferred).
• Area of expertise in Packaging Metal & Plastic, Glass, Cardboard
• Analytical abilities for assessing market conditions
• Strategic agility and pragmatism
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) intermediate Excel Skills
• Fluency in Fresh (highly preferred)
• An understanding of relevant software systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations

The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $210,000 USD.
