Senior Finance Manager - Distribution & Logistics

The Senior Finance Manager - Distribution & Logistics is an integral finance leader who manages the finance team supporting the North America distribution and logistics organization by providing insights into business performance drivers with clear actionable recommendations which enable the management of costs and delivery of strategic initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, responsibility for the annual operating plan, period end results, monthly forecast, strategic plan, and all ad hoc financial analyses supporting the delivery of supply chain transformation work streams.


The ability to build strong, collaborative business partnerships across the organization at all levels is critical. Additionally, the Senior Finance Manager of Distribution and Logistics will build, coach, develop, and mentor a strong high performing supply chain finance team.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Lead/support close processes including variance explanations to forecast, plan, and prior year.
  • Identify risks and opportunities via insights into business trends and the current environment.
  • Lead and support the development of key dashboards and reporting which provides financial insights and recommendations to drive measurable business results.
  • Lead the annual plan development for distribution and logistics by working closely with supply chain partners and the business unit to assess key trends, metrics, and drivers of change to the business.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance team's overall efficiency, depth of insight, accuracy, and financial analytics.
  • Provide financial leadership for productivity initiatives including vetting, tracking, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery of savings.
  • Lead and/or assist in performing ad-hoc analyses as requested to support innovation, cost savings, and other initiatives supporting the full brand portfolio.
  • Provide strong financial support and leadership in various supply chain strategic initiatives including Supply Chain Transformation (T4T) and Design to Consumer Value (DTCV).
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
  • Lead and develop a strong, collaborative, high-performing supply chain finance team.


Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA a plus
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, CPG experience a plus
  • Distribution and logistics supply chain finance experience required
  • Experience in SAP or Oracle. Power BI a plus
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify and communicate potential opportunities and risks
  • Flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely versatile in fast-paced ambiguous environment with drive for results
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency
  • Inquisitive and critical thinker with the ability to drive thought leadership
  • Ability to successfully interact and partner with all levels of leadership across the organization
