Senior Lead Hydrogeologist

As a Senior Lead Hydrogeologist, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing complex hydrogeological and geotechnical projects. Your expertise will provide strategic direction and technical guidance, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and innovative solutions to their water management challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee hydrogeological, geological, and geotechnical studies, contributing strategic advice to clients.
• Provide expert technical guidance on operational water management, including dewatering studies and groundwater flow modeling for geotechnical stability.
• Design and manage comprehensive water management studies and programs, ensuring accurate data collection, interpretation, and evaluation.
• Integrate multidisciplinary approaches involving geochemistry, geophysics, and surface water management to meet diverse client needs.
• Direct and supervise fieldwork programs, including site characterization, drilling, well installation, hydraulic testing, and water quality sampling.
• Maintain rigorous quality control standards and procedures for precise measurements, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. Degree in Hydrogeology or a closely related discipline.
• Professional Hydrologist or Engineer designation, or eligibility for registration in relevant jurisdictions.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and writing skills.
• Strong self-leadership and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for evaluating data and identifying cost-effective, environmentally responsible solutions.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and dynamic work environments.
• Willingness to travel for occasional work assignments.
• High proficiency in analytical geology concepts, research, technology, measurement tools, software, and techniques.
