About the Role

We are looking for a reliable Senior Manager, Commercial Finance to lead all aspects of commercial finance under the supervision of the VP Finance & Administration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Pricing maintenance, A&P controls/ROI, Depletion Forecasting, and commercial analysis and insights. The candidate will have a good knowledge of pricing in the 3-Tier system, must be organized with an attention to detail, reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively.

This role reports to Disaronno International LLC’s VP of Finance.


This position can be based in the New York City Metropolitan Area or in Baltimore, MD.


Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Key liaison with sales and field marketing teams to develop financial plans, provide financial analysis/insights and to identify risks and opportunities with a focus on the following areas:
  • Volume: Includes analysis of brand trends, market share, competitive trends.
  • Pricing: Review and analyze price structure plans by market/sku. Focus on maximizing revenue, understanding and maintaining distributor margins and taking advantage of competitive trends. Analyze price elasticity and model financial scenarios.
  • Promotions: Review, analyze and approve field promotional budgets. Includes development of process to ensure proper controls and evaluation of program ROI for distributor incentives and other field marketing activities.
  • Serve as primary contact with Business Development Directors in resolving issues related to pricing, programming investments and various provisions of the distributor contracts.
  • Lead special projects to enhance field sales forecasting capabilities. Developed processes and tools for a more comprehensive and integrated volume forecasts by market.
  • Provide Sales VPs with a thorough understanding of channel profitability and assist in the allocation of resources between channels.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ of relevant role experience.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to ensure positive team relationships.
  • Ability to work independently to drive programs through to completion.
  • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Oracle Hyperion/iDIG/BI/JD Edwards.
