Senior Manager, Manufacturing Strategy (NCA)

Primary Purpose Of The Position

Oversee regional strategy deployment and execution, play a pivotal role in ensuring effective data visualization and analysis, and support Ball Operational Excellence (BOE) evolution through creation and updates to BOE standards.

What will you be responsible for?

• Facilitate catch ball sessions and the lead the top-down target setting process for the assigned region, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders from finance and other functional departments to develop and execute pre-annual and annual operating plans (AOP) that are aligned with business objectives and financial goals.
• Oversee the inputs and execution of the 3YP/1YP to ensure targets align with the AOP and strategic objectives are incorporated.
• Utilize BOE principles and other lean methodologies to facilitate continuous improvement activities for Safety, Cost, Quality and Productivity.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance in dashboards through regular updates and data validation processes.
• Develop, improve and maintain dashboards in excel, Power BI and other reporting systems to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Develop and manage the operational performance tracking process, ensuring timely data extraction and accuracy. Coordinate data closure activities to guarantee completeness and accuracy for global, regional, production group and plant levels.
• Own updates and utilization of the standardized BOE tracking system for plant results and means, providing insights for decision making, awards and recognition.
• Manage the standardization, creation and updates to BOE tools, templates and training materials.
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading Operational Excellence initiatives in a manufacturing environment, preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement techniques
• Minimum of 3 years experience tracking key metrics, evaluating progress, and making data-driven decisions to optimize operations and drive continuous improvmenent
• Experience with Power BI or similar application
  
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• This role can be located remotely; however, regular travel to Westminster, CO and Ball Corporation manufacturing facilities will be required.
• Hiring Salary Range: $ 106,100 - 161,920 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
