Salary: $100,000- $110,000

Company Profile: Leading apparel company that has been around for over 80 years is looking for a Senior Planner who will focus on forecasting, planning, building business for the organization. This role will have an omni presence in both brick & mortar and ecommerce presence to ensure successful assortment strategy. This organization works exclusively with one of the nation’s leading retail stores and is looking for additional support for their tremendous growth.

The Senior Merchandise Planner will be responsible for the following:

• Building business financial plans/budgets through data-driven historical analysis, Item Creation and Maintenance
• Identify sales and profit opportunities/liabilities and make recommendations to department
• Run and analyze daily/weekly sales and inventory reports
• Collaborate with replenishment counterpart weekly to review shipping forecasts to maximize sales trend
• Compile assortment analysis to determine contract order quantities by style, color and size

The Senior Merchandise Planner should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of planning experience (merchandise, e-commerce, financial, omnichannel, wholesale)
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
• Experience with PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, SQL (plus)
• Ability to partner and communicate with cross-functional teams
• Entrepreneurial spirit

This is a full-time hybrid position (3 days onsite) in Midtown, Manhattan - near Grand Central Station
