Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in network protocols, especially BGP, OSPF, and Cisco network automation. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial or banking sector. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network solutions to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and performance for our critical financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructures with a focus on BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.
• Implement and manage Cisco network automation tools to optimize network performance and streamline operations.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution.
• Monitor and analyze network performance, implementing changes as necessary to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with broader IT systems.
• Provide expert-level support for network security, scalability, and high availability.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure up-to-date records.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on BGP, OSPF, and Cisco network automation.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLAN, and QoS.
• Proven experience in managing Cisco devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Experience working within the financial or banking industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of network security best practices.
• Cisco certifications (such as CCNP or CCIE) are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN technology and implementation
