Senior Network Engineer - Fortinet Focused

Our client, a healthcare company focused on the dentistry space, is looking for a Fortinet SME to join their team. They need an experienced network engineer who has worked in a Fortinet focused environment to help them upgrade and maintain their current environment. They are also planning on making a push to be more cloud focused so any experience in AWS or Azure cloud networking is a huge plus.

They currently have a large network environment with over 800 sites, multiple datacenters, and multiple corporate hubs that you will be supporting. They recently migrated to be almost entirely Fortinet with some Juniper switches in their datacenters. You will be primarily focused on their Fortinet suite which includes but isn’t limited to FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiGate, FortiClient, Fortinet SDWAN, FortiManager, and FortiCloud.

This is a contract-to-hire position with a lot of remote flexibility. There will be an on call need one week a month where you might have to get to their Plano datacenter for incident response. Compensation is $50-60/hr converting over to $110-120K. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working in an enterprise level network environment.
• Experience working with the Fortinet suite of products.
• Knowledge of cloud networking.
• Ability to collaborate with a team.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of network engineering experience, at least 2 working with the Fortinet suite.
• Related education or certifications a plus.
