Base pay range

$80.00/hr - $85.00/hr
Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to advancing patient care and safety, is looking for a contract Senior Program/Project Manager. This is a remote contract position.

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience setting up/configuring Smartsheet. This includes building automations, intake forms, templates, reports, dashboards, etc. (Required)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. (Required)
  • Running large-scale projects from inception to completion with a strong skills in project requirement gathering and Documentation. (Required)
  • Experience leading large scale, cross functional projects from conception through completion.
  • Familiar with agile and waterfall methodology.
  • Technology experience is a bonus, including data migration and system configuration.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

  • Smartsheet Certified (Preferred)

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience setting up/configuring Smartsheet.
  • This includes building automations, intake forms, templates, reports, dashboards, etc. (We’re moving to Smartsheet as our project management platform and could use someone who is an expert/champion that can help build it the way we need).
  • Complete the project charter document, including documenting all expectations of the project. The project charter should be completed within 2 weeks of being assigned to the project.
  • Ensuring the sponsors and project team all agree with the charter and commit to their role in completing the project.
  • Facilitate and drive meetings, including sending agendas with expectations before the meeting. Meetings include, but not limited to, kickoff meeting, workgroup meeting, core team meeting, ad hoc meetings.
  • Capture meeting notes from project meetings using the template above and send them to the people invited to the meeting.
  • Maintain a RAID log to capture and track risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions. Escalate risks and issues as necessary.
  • Create and maintain a project plan that identifies tasks, owners, and due dates.
  • Send regular status reports weekly using the assigned template.
  • Document changes to the project, including new tasks, change requests, timeline changes, etc.
  • Ensure their project is updated in Smartsheet at least once per week to ensure proper reporting.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly project management meeting.
