Job Summary: The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading and managing the recruitment process for senior and specialized positions within the organization. This role requires deep expertise in talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating with candidates, as well as the ability to develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with the organization's goals. The Senior Recruiter serves as a trusted partner to hiring managers, providing guidance on market trends and best practices to attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment:
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for senior and specialized roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.
    • Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates through networking, social media, and other innovative methods.
    • Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Strategic Partnership:
    • Collaborate with business leaders and HR teams to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing expertise on market trends, compensation strategies, and talent acquisition best practices.
    • Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives to ensure a robust talent pipeline for critical roles.
  • Candidate Experience:
    • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear and consistent communication.
    • Provide candidates with detailed information about the company, the role, and the recruitment process.
    • Manage the offer process, including salary negotiation, to secure top talent while aligning with the company’s compensation structure.
  • Employer Branding:
    • Work closely with the HR and marketing teams to promote the company’s employer brand, particularly for senior and hard-to-fill roles.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
    • Create and share content that highlights the company’s culture, values, and career opportunities on various platforms.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies that support the company’s DEI goals, ensuring that recruitment practices are inclusive and attract a diverse pool of candidates.
    • Track and report on diversity metrics for senior hires and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Partner with the HR team to enhance diversity initiatives within the organization.
  • Data and Analytics:
    • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire, to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on recruitment activity and outcomes for HR leadership and business stakeholders.
    • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the recruitment process and inform strategic decisions.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Assist in the preparation of required compliance reports, such as EEO-1 and other regulatory filings.
  • Mentorship and Leadership:
    • Mentor and support junior recruiters and recruitment coordinators, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
    • Lead or participate in special projects or initiatives related to talent acquisition or HR.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, recruitment tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting top talent.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on senior-level or specialized roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies for high-impact positions.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technology platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
