Business Development:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to grow market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and target industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs.


Channel Strategy:

  • Develop and implement channel strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue generation.
  • Identify and evaluate potential distribution partners, dealers, and contractors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to drive sales growth.
  • Monitor channel performance and provide regular feedback to optimize effectiveness.


Sales Management:

  • Achieve the annual sales plan. Develop a comprehensive sales approach that aligns with our business goals, the market opportunities and our customer’s objectives to drive consistent plan achievement leading to achievement of overall revenue and bookings targets
  • Build consistent and reliable sales forecasts delivering a high monthly “say-do” ratio
  • Lead the sales team in building pipeline, developing effective sales plans, maintaining sales reports, developing market and competitive intelligence
  • Collaborate with executive-level leadership and remote teams
  • Monitor sales pipelines & performance and produce regular reports & updates to executive leadership


Talent Management

  • Develop and deploy sales structure as it pertains to the growth strategy and decisions on sales channels and partnerships
  • Build a team motivated to drive profitable organic growth. Lead and mentor direct reports to be responsible for voice of customer, value selling, sales funnel management, and growth.
  • Through in-person and remote activities, coach sales teams and leaders to identify, qualify, develop, and sell complex motion systems.
  • Make decisions related to hiring, promotion or other needs within the team.
  • Drive key behavior compliance and optimization of digital CRM tools.


Required skills and qualifications

  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven record of success in sales and business development with at least eight years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building and implementing sales strategies to deliver incremental growth.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team and hold the team accountable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Takes accountability to create and execute solutions that deliver desired results and can “own it” in a performance driven culture.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events. Approximately up to 50%-70% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
