Senior Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist (Hybrid)

Daily Responsibilities:

• Participate in efforts to analyze, specify, and design testing for components in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Assist in developing the Performance Testing Strategy, Performance Testing Plans, and Scripts.
• Conducts manual and automated testing to make sure all the major functionalities are functioning as per requirement
• Create both positive and negative test scenarios.
• Perform compatibility tests in case Salesforce is integrated with third-party applications and internal and external integrated systems.
• Familiar with load testing tools like JMeter to validate the complex flows that can offer inconsistent results in Salesforce.
• Utilize Automated testing tools like ACCELQ, HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Cucumber, Force.com IDE (Eclipse-based), Change Sets (Cloud Deploy), Ant/force.com migration tool, Workday, etc.
• Execute Functional/Performance Tests using industry-standard tools such as QTP, Loadrunner or similar tools Analyze results and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Establish and maintain an easy communication channel with the technical tea
• Knowledge of Apex.

Required Years of Experience:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a test lead capacity.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform.

Required Degree:

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.

Required Experience:

• Hands-on experience with testing tools like ACCELQ, HP Unified Functional Testing (UTF), Cucumber, Force.com IDE (Eclipse-based), Change Sets (Cloud Deploy), Ant/force.com migration tool, Workday, etc.
• Knowledge of XML, JAVA, and SOAP or related languages.
• A high degree of skill in troubleshooting, characterizing, and describing software defects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly.
• Strong capabilities in performing independently and as part of a cross-functional, team in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to manage and prioritize own workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Functional and Performance Testing of CRM Applications such as Salesforce.com.
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach, SCRUM approach/methodologies highly desired.
• Development background is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Salesforce Administrator
• Certified Salesforce Cloud Consultant
