Senior Social Community Manager

SENIOR SOCIAL COMMUNITY MANAGER 


We are seeking a seasoned Senior Community Manager to help in the execution of campaigns across the digital and social landscape. The ideal candidate is well-versed in leading social media marketing and strategy, has strong writing skills, and is comfortable managing a team in a fast-paced creative environment. You must have experience leading social strategy, developing social planning systems, copywriting, and publishing within the digital landscape. Entertainment Industry experience is a bonus.

THE ROLE 


Our Senior Community Managers are responsible for overseeing the execution and development of social strategy and management. This includes managing social calendars, which includes platform response copywriting, publishing, and monitoring. This role ensures the flawless execution of our content and developing actionable data to highlight and improve post-performance. This role is also responsible for mentoring junior team members and being the client representative of our social team and strategy on campaigns.  


Core responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing junior Social Team members, assisting with facilitating their growth and training in social best practices.
  2. Working to develop new processes and finding areas of improvement for the agency Social Team + systems. 
  3. Serving as the client-facing social team lead, communicating with clients daily to provide updates regarding social strategy, posting, and CM.
  4. Working alongside the creative strategist in the development of campaign voice and post copy for active projects and pitches.
  5. Writing social media copy for assets, microsites and post copy across all our projects.
  6. Providing live content capture support at premieres and other campaign events on an as-needed basis, and live social coverage day-of.
  7. Developing and contextualizing weekly analytics reports that outline both data and strategic recommendations based on performance and trends. 
  8. Monitoring real-time conversation and sentiment, making actionable creative recommendations to the team
  9. Supporting Account Leads and Strategists across assigned proposals and campaigns. This includes attending brainstorms, ongoing idea development, platform recommendations, and copyediting.
  10. Working in tandem with the Community Managers to: 
  • Proactively and consistently executing replies across all social channels, flagging spam, monitoring sentiment, and tracking performance. 
  • Setting up channels, updating skins, updating bios, etc.
  • Publishing and QAing all posts. Community Managers are responsible for ensuring posts are published correctly and on time.
  • Managing the weekly calendar + publishing across a range of projects 
  • Talent auditing. Keeping a close eye on talent channels and additional engagement opportunities to share with the team
  • Quote pulls and script coverage as needed, helping the team to understand the tone, key themes, and beats of a property 


Preferred experience:

  • 4+ years of experience managing entertainment campaigns, launching social handles + content on key beats.
  • Must know the difference between "there" and "their"
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Copywriting experience a plus and/or strong creative writing skills
  • Passion for pop culture, movies, and TV shows
  • Bachelor's in marketing or communications a plus
  • Experience with social CMS and/or analytics tools a plus
