Jack Henry is seeking a Senior SymAdvisor to join our Symitar Consulting team. The SymAdvisor team provides general consulting and technical staff augmentation for the Symitar business unit within Jack Henry. The SymAdvisors use their extensive knowledge and experience in the financial services industry to collaborate with credit unions to improve their overall success. SymAdvisors have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the Episys platform, as well as business processes, project management, and overall credit union strategy. SymAdvisor may act as a consultant one moment, a business analyst or a system administrator the next, and then a technical project manager with the next client.

This role can sit anywhere within the United States.

What you’ll be responsible for:
* Acts as a system administrator or business analyst for customer.
* Collaborates with Jack Henry business units on behalf of the customer.
* Conducts customer operational and/or systems analysis resulting in problem identification. During engagements, identifies customer-focused operational and system enhancement opportunities.
* Monitors personal forecasts to ensure performance to plan.
* Conducts business process reviews, identifying current state and improved future state. Working closely with customer on business value to gain acceptance, then assist in implementation of future state.
* Shares insight on market trends and needs; identifies customer needs; assists with creation of product offerings.
* Collaborates with team to position Symitar as a leader in the credit union technology market by working with marketing and education teams on white papers, case studies, podcasts, and presentations.
* Drafts proposals and statements or work to include customer pricing.
* Create deliverables for customers, including detailed reports that outline the findings and recommendations for process improvement, Visio diagrams for current and future state of processes, and data analysis.
* Collaborates with clients to ensure testing and training are complete during implementation projects.
* Creates project plans to monitor progress, assuring all milestones are completed as projected.
* May identify company products or services sales opportunities to fulfill customer’s current or future needs.
* May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing.
* May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.
* May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:
* Minimum of 9 years of experience in consulting or credit union operations.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience with Symitar.
