AT A GLANCE:


A proven expert in building a talent architecture that promotes internal mobility, development, and retention of talent. The Senior Talent Manager will lead, manage and coordinate company-wide efforts to ensure that talent management (TM) and talent acquisition (TA) plans are developed and executed according to the Business and Human Capital strategic priorities. This position will also be responsible for overseeing a team of Recruiters that conducts full life cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for Broad River Retail, as well as devising and maintaining effective programs for retention, promotion and succession planning.


DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER:


  • Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.
  • Responsible for the advancement of talent development initiatives in partnership with the learning & development team.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to create targeted leadership development (i.e., succession planning).
  • a key role in our annual talent mapping exercise to define critical talent and create and implement development plans for top talent.
  • with senior leaders to assist management in the development of talent solutions through organizational development, cultural and process-oriented perspectives.
  • implement and lead specific initiatives within Broad River Retail which may include talent reviews and performance management discussions, employee value proposition initiatives, executive coaching and assessment processes, diversity & inclusion strategies, high potential development, 360s and change management programs.
  • Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
  • Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the talent system, including standardizing job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments in collaboration with the Human Capital team.
  • Conduct presentations and training.
  • Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire.
  • Work closely with the HRIS Analyst to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • All other duties as assigned.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:


  • 2-3 years of Talent Management experience and 4-5 years of Talent Acquisition experience required.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting company-wide talent management programs that cover talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics, and relationship management.
  • Relevant experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
  • Understands how to establish and capture internal demographic metrics.
  • Knowledge in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
  • Involvement in working with applicant tracking systems and affirmative action plan requirements.
