Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Data Analytics Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead and manage complex data analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, project management, and business analysis, combined with excellent communication and leadership skills. This role is critical in delivering actionable insights and ensuring the successful execution of data-driven projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Project Management:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end data analytics projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets; ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions, as necessary.
  1. Business Analysis:
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, requirements, and objectives.
  • Analyze and document business processes, data flows, and requirements; translate them into technical specifications for data analytics solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance business performance.
  1. Data Analytics:
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data models, reporting systems, and dashboards.
  • Leverage advanced analytics techniques and tools to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across analytics initiatives.
  1. Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Mentor and guide junior team members; foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, business units, and senior management.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and project management.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating and optimizing data processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analytics, project management, and business analysis, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus.
