Job Summary:

The Service Manager at Keffer Hyundai in Matthews, North Carolina will primarily be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department at the dealership. This individual contributor role will require strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the success of the service team. As a key member of the dealership, the Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting sales, and maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity within the department.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, training, and supervising service technicians and advisors
  • Ensure high-quality standards are met and maintained in all service department processes and procedures
  • Develop and implement service department policies and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and analyze service department operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer concerns and complaints
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to achieve overall dealership goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records and reports for internal and external use
  • Monitor and manage service department budgets and expenses
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and regulations to ensure compliance and improve service operations


Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Service Manager in the auto industry is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and other departments
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive service and repair processes and methods
  • Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate dealership needs
