Social Media Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Social Media Coordinator / Admin Support to join our client's team on a part-time (20 hours / week) on a contract basis. As a member of the Engagement team, you will help manage and grow engagement with developers across social media, video platforms, email marketing, and community programs. Your contributions will enhance internal communications, support process documentation, and assist with channel management.

Responsibilities

• Content Publishing Assistance: Support channel owners in publishing high-quality content on social media and YouTube, including revising captions, adding metadata, and assisting with graphic procurement.
• Audience Engagement Assistance: Help engage with our audience by managing comments, messages, and inquiries on social media and YouTube. Assist in developing and managing a case study library for storytelling content.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor performance metrics across social and media channels, track audience growth, and provide regular reports with actionable insights to improve content strategy.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Manage content calendars and team boards, schedule posts, and coordinate with team members to ensure timely content delivery.
• Documentation Assistance: Support team members in documenting processes and resources on internal platforms.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with social media and YouTube channel management.
• Strong understanding of various social media platforms.
• Proficiency with tools like Asana, Google Sheets, Slack, and Confluence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a passion for storytelling is a plus.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A passion for technology and a good understanding of the software industry is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  

Contract Details

• Hourly Rate: $25-28/hr, based on experience.
• Duration: Contract position will be part time (20 hours / week) Sept 2, 2024 - Nov 1, 2024
